QC's personalized debut programme

My Personalized Debut Programme
For the 18th Birthday Celebration of Ms. QLSC
At Greenmeadows Clubhouse, on January 13, 2007
Note: This programme is only an initial draft and is subject to the whims of the debutante J.

I. Holy Mass (if arranged and confirmed with a priest)
a. The arranged priest will lead an anticipated Sunday Mass. The Mass will ideally last for only 30-45 minutes.
b. The debutante will be staying at ____________________ during the Mass.
II. Arrival of Guests
a. The guests will assembly at the receiving counter outside the entrance to confirm their attendance. Assigned people will inform the guests their assigned table number.
III. Entrance of Guests
a. The parents of the debutante shall receive the guests and lead them to the photo-video staff.
b. Guests will enter the ballroom. Photo-video staff will take their picture in the red carpet.
c. Guests will be escorted by an usher/usherette to their assigned table.
IV. When 75% of the guests have arrived, the program shall begin. (If there was no priest arranged for the Mass/there was no Mass, this part will be the opening prayer led by ____________________.)
V. Self-introduction of Emcee
VI. Introduction of the Debutante’s Family (by the Emcee)
a. Family of the Debutante will do a parade.

b. Audio Visual Presentations of the Debutante will be shown during dinner.

XI. 18 Candle-Wishers
a. The 18 Candle-wishers will be called one at a time. They will be given a brief introduction (All introductions for the sponsors shall be prepared by the debutante.)
b. 18 Candle-wishers will light their candles one by one and make a wish for the debutante. They can also recall experiences they shared with the debutante and also give a short message addressed to her.
c. After they have all wished, the parents of the debutante will make a wish for her.
d. Group picture of the wishers with the debutante.
XII. 18 Symbolic Treasures
a. The 18 offerers of symbolic treasures will be called one at a time after a brief introduction of each.
b. The 18 offerers will show (or describe, if the gift’s packaging is hard to open) their gifts to the debutante and to the guests.
c. The 18 offerers will explain why that is their gift. In reasoning, they can share stories about the debutante.
d. Group picture of offerers with the debutante.
XIII. Cake and Wine Ceremony with Bubble Machine
a. Debutante will be joined by her immediate family. She will cut the cake and give a piece to each of her family members: father, mother, brothers and sisters. In turn, her parents will also give her a piece of the cake.
b. Wine will also be given to the debutante and her family. The debutante’s parents will lead the toasting of wine for the debutante. The guests will raise their wine glasses and join the toast.
XIV. 18 Roses
a. 18 Roses will be called one at a time after being introduced briefly.
b. They will each dance with the debutante for around 30 seconds-1 minute.
c. After 30 seconds-1 minute, the emcee calls the next rose-offerer. While waiting for the next rose-offerer, the previous rose-offerer stays and dances with the debutante until the next one arrives.
d. When the debutante has danced with all offerers and received all roses, they will have a group picture.
XV. 18 Talents (Part 1)
a. The first three of the 18 Talents will be called one at a time after being introduced briefly.
b. They will showcase their talents one at a time.
c. (This is done to prepare the equipments/music needed by the 18 talent-presentors without wasting time/boring the guests.)
XVI. Awarding – Most Telegenic (Part 1)
a. One girl and one boy are called and awarded the Most Telegenic Award.
b. They are each given a prize. Their picture is taken together with the debutante.
XVII. 18 Talents (Part 2)
a. The next three of the 18 Talents will be called one at a time after being introduced briefly.
b. They will showcase their talents one at a time.
XVIII. Message to debutante (Part 1)
a. A group of relatives/friends are called to talk about the debutante, share stories, gives message, etc. to the debutante for all the guests to hear. If they are not part of the Candle-wishers, they can also add their wishes for the debutante.
XIX. Awarding – Most Telegenic (Part 2)
a. One girl and one boy are called and awarded the Most Telegenic Award.
b. They are each given a prize. Their picture is taken together with the debutante.
XX. 18 Talents (Part 3)
a. The next three… (same formula as above)
XXI. Awarding – Most Photogenic
a. One girl and one are called and awarded the Most Photogenic Award.
b. They are each given a prize. Their picture is taken together with the debutante.
XXII. Message to debutante (Part 2)
a. A group of relatives/friends are called to talk about the debutante, share stories, gives message, etc. to the debutante for all the guests to hear. If they are not part of the Candle-wishers, they can also add their wishes for the debutante.
XXIII. 18 Talents (Part 4)
XXIV. Awarding – Best Dressed (Part 1)
a. One boy and one girl are called and awarded the Best Dressed Award.
b. They are each given a prize. Their picture is taken together with the debutante.

XXIX. Awarding – Early Birds
a. The four earliest guests (excluding family members and relatives of the debutante) are called and awarded the Early Birds.
